Music
Instruction Studio located at 6349 East Brainerd Road. A free
introductory lesson and family discounts are available.
Drum Room and Lessons Set-up
In the Sean's drum room at MIS you can
expect to find everything needed to meet the curriculum developed for the
beginner through advanced drum student. The equipment and room
layout are specific to the area of focus during the lessons.
T&T (Technique and Theory) Corner
Area where the focus is technique and
rhythm theory. A corner of the room set-up with a snare drum, white
board, metronome and library for studies that include proper
grip/technique, rudimental studies, timing and basic sight reading
development.
Beat/Fill Builder Lab
Area of the room where student and
instructor drum sets are set up for coordination development and drum beat
and fill building exercises.
Groove Station
A fully miked drum kit set-up for the
purpose of play-along and recording with backing tracks to help develop
groove playing skills.
Group Lessons
Sean is available to
teach groups up to four students on snare drum and drum set at the studio
and also available for on-site group instruction; call for information.
